Hello,

I am looking to hire a 3d modeler to help make a few 3d models for a mod Im making for the video game Shogun 2.

an idea of what these characters look like can be seen here:

What I am hoping someone will be able to do is make a Model of a character named Lu Bu , (hes from the Dynasty warriors / ROTK series) and put him in a format that shogun 2 can use.

What this character looks like can be found here:
the first one is probably a bit too high of a poly count for Shogun, we wouldnt need that much detail but i wouldnt complain if there was.

part of this process will have to involve figuring out what format these "unit_variant files" containing the 3d model and parts are in so the game engine recognizes them.

Here is a Tutorial on putting models in the right format so the game can use them

It should be noted this may be as easy as editing pre-existing armors that look close enough, and making them resemble the model we are going for, infact this way would probably work out with less troubleshooting etc.

I have experience modding the pre exisiting files i just suck at 3d modeling so this job I can not do alone. I have a low budget of near $250 which may be to low for some, but perhaps could be good for someone who needs to practice, add more models to their portfolio or wants to play this mod I am making for the TW series ha.

I'd be willing to go up on the price for a real professional, but keep in mind I am not a studio or anything, I am just a gamer whos trying to make a video game I like better instead of buying new ones for $60 that are meh.

If you've made it through this post and are feeling ambitious before hearing back from me, or just want to save us both time and see if you can open the files in Max, heres a link to a few meshs from the game (OdaDaiymofolder/unitparts/japan), the plug in you need, an old Lu Bu model that may somehow be of use and a packfilemanager used for opening up other packs in the future.
