Answered: Messing around with DDO

I have a question about DDO. I want to go in and play around with the smart materials so I clicked on DDO and in the base creator I cannot click on create. Does it require something to start messing with its materials? What if I just want to play around and create a tiled texture?

You need an input of some sort. At minimum I would recommend a normal map, but a curvature map would work as well. Once you give DDO a map to draw details from, you'll then be able to work with it.
