Laptop for 3ds max

Hi All I need some advice regarding a laptop I'm thinking about buying which i need for educational purposes.  My question is can this laptop run 3ds max 2013 well?

- 17.3" (1920x1080) Intel i7-5700HQ(2.70GHz) 8GB 1 TB HDD
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M, 2GB DDR3

DDR3 ram isn't ideal for a GPU, a GTX 850M or 950M is what you want to look for, but with GDDR5.
