we started to do our FYP and we want to post it here to get feedback, and advice from you guys
and I hope with this project we learn a lot.
the showcase about environment its in a city with military .
we started with sketch and gather references.
here mock up for the city.
and here some buildings.
some props sketch.
we spend planing everything with blocks first and test in unreal 4 .
after we fix all scale we start to add props and building with details.

now we will move to texturing and UV
but we face some problem on how we prepare it specially the building.

we finish unwraping uv for all buildings the question is do we need to balance all uv then start do the texture or
do the texture then assign uv according to it ?
we start texturing most of the building.

for light mapping how the best way to prepare it ?
since the building is attache and not modular.

I would try using UE4s import options to generate lightmap uvs and if that didn't work then I would either break it apart and make it modular or only use realtime lighting. It is not going to be worth it to set up lightmap uvs like this manually.
