3D ARTIST / GENERALIST – Global English
Global English is looking for a 3D Artist / Generalist with a passion for mobile game development. Working closely with our Art Director and creative team, you will have a key role in establishing and creating an exciting game world for children to explore and learn.

Remuneration: A$70K-75K

Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with the Art Director and team to create game world.
Development of environments, props, characters and UI elements.
Creation of 2D and 3D assets for mobile platforms.
Creation of digital sculptures for in-game assets and marketing.
Candidate Requirements
A passion for, and experience in game development.
An eye for strong silhouettes and appealing shapes.
Exceptional 3D development skills with the ability create game ready assets, within technical limitations and aligned with artistic vision, or based on existing concepts, including environments, props and characters.
The ability to conceptualise and design assets according to the artistic vision is a bonus.
The ability to create efficient, user friendly UV maps.
A good understanding of the
requirements of rigging for games, with the ability to rig both
organic and inorganic objects.
The ability to create a variety of
effects including particles.
The ability to set up and light scenes within current game engines based on concept art and overall art direction.
Practical knowledge of current 2D and 3D software and game development pipelines.
Experience working with current 3D game engines.
