This December and January, join us for an exciting series of webinars that will show you how to use MODO and MARI for game asset creation. As you probably know, MODO is our powerful, fully featured 3D content creation package, while MARI is our high-detail, physically based 3D painting solution. Used together, these two applications offer tremendous flexibility for asset creation, and we’re going to show you both how and why.
The most frustrating thing about learning a new application is, well, learning a new application! Specifically, learning the basic concepts behind how an application works. This series of webinars is intended to get you up to speed using MODO and MARI, fast. In each of the webinars, we’ll be showing a different aspect of MODO and how it can be used in game workflows.
Each webinar will also include a special guest speaker, who will give either an interview, or deliver a workflow session or mini tutorial showcasing their own work. You can get more details on the first three presentations and register to attend below. You won’t want to miss these! We’ll send you another email in January with the next set of sessions.

Also same as above, what is the registration password?
There shouldn't be a password required now. Please check again and let me know if you have any problems. 8)
Yes, the sessions will be recorded and posted later. There also will be in total, 7 sessions. The times will switch between approx. noon PST and 6:00 PM PST depending on the webinar so more people have a chance to join. We will be posting the info for each session as it is finalized. The 3rd webinar will be the 16th. Still nailing down the actual time. If you can attend, please do. We really want to do more things like this here at The Foundry.
Also, some of the sessions will include some free assets and scripts/macros. The guest presenters and I will definitely be showing some things that will make your lives easier...

We had Barry pre-record his presentation yesterday on Modo to UE4 rigging and animation. And I'm glad he did because there was a problem and the first 10 minutes was dropped from the stream. We also are putting the video together from Tuesday to go up on youtube/vimeo. I'll be editing that together this weekend. For now, we have posted barry's recording since anybody who joined the webinar didn't get to see those first 10 minutes. All video links will be updated in the following thread and I will post the youtube and vimeo links here once they are available early next week.

There is some very good news though. The next webinar will be held on Twitch.tv:

Should be much higher quality and easier for everyone to hear as well.

I think we did. Not sure. I'm scheduling that with the presenters this week. Will get back to you on that by the weeks end. The scripting session will be January 13th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM PST. More info later.
