Monthly Noob Challenge - New Organizer Needed

Hello everyone,

I am announcing my leave from hosting the Monthly Noob Challenge each month. It's a very good chance that most of you don't know who I am but I share these thoughts with everyone all the same. I do appreciate everyone who found motivation and inspiration in these challenges and participated each month. I don't hope this to be an end of the MNC, and I hope that the community can find a way to pass on the challenge, but it will have to be done on the community's own accord.

It has truly been an honor to be able to share this experience with you guys. After being passed the leadership from a friend and mentor that I look up to, Alex Senechal, I feel that I've done all that I can do within my time providing a place for motivation, and creativity for the wonderful artists on this site.

I do hope the best of luck to all of you with whatever you decide to do with your artistic careers.

I personally didn't take part in any of the challenges, but it was always great to see what people came out with. 

I hope the responsibility can be cleanly passed over to another member so that it can continue to run!

Awesome thing you started. I always enjoy looking at each month's contest and seeing the community help each other improve and encourage one another. Here's hoping that we'll see the next challenge sooner rather than later.

I'm not sure actually. There was someone who was interested 2 months prior but I don't actually know if they are still willing to take over. I might have to contact them to see. If not then I'd be glad with anyone taking over if they have the motivation to do so. I always have the art files in a PSD handy in case anyone is interested.

If you're still looking for someone, I'm interested. I am not an industry professional (yet?) but I've really gained a lot through observing (and more recently participating in) these challenges and I would hate to see them go away. Still working on finishing up October's, and I'm planning on starting a new thread for comments and critiques once it's almost done.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes, it really means a lot to see the community built through these challenges. I know that the challenge will continue to thrive in the coming months under the new coordinator who will introduce them self within the coming weeks.
