3ds max 2016 + windows 10 = bad times

Hello whenever I open 3ds max 2016 I get the errors below. I've tried reinstalling completely (registry cleaned and folders removed) also running in windows 7 compatibility mode and running as admin, which seemed to work for a while but now it happens almost every time I open max.  I don't think downgrading is an option since this pc came with 10 installed. I've got the latest service pack which is 1 I believe.

Trying deleting m0ed1ljf.dll in your local\temp folder.

@Scruples   I can't seem to find that dll, I've looked in my temp folder and all I can find beginning with M is - https://i.gyazo.com/9649813b204a5cb5eadb5086120d45a7.png   do I need to do an extra step to see dll files? I turned on view hidden files.

Are you looking in the folder which is specified in your first error message?

Also, have you tried Google searching with your error messages?

Lastly, have you contacted your reseller for installation assistance? They should support the install, that's part of their job as a reseller.

I'm running Windows 10 with 2016 without issue. Try uninstalling Max 2016 SP1. I know that SP has caused a lot of problems for people. Also try doing a repair install, maybe that will help.

The only thing which worked for me (3ds Max 2018 on Win 10) was to turn down my Firewall and Realtime Maleware Scan (i hope its called like that, english is not my native language) then it suddelny worked.
