Hey, I ran into a little problem, I am in substance painter currently and I am using a 2048x4096 texture. The problem is that everything i apply is stretched, I know I can wrap every effect 1:2 but is there a handier way to do it that anyone knows of?
Hey, here is the texturing so far, I don't know if there is much more to do but I'll keep doing small adjustments for a while before finishing up.
Edit: I'm unsure of the handle, It is unclear what the material should be from the references I have but right now I made it wooden, but it might as well be some kind of bakelite or something. I think wood looks a bit better after trying both but feel free to give me your opinion on this..
That is some excellent work! Does it have any moving parts yet?
Thanks! It depends on what you mean by moving parts, every part that should move is a separate piece so if it would be animated that would be no problem.
Not much to crit on the artwork, it looks great. But please use JPG. 8MB or so per image is really excessive, especially for those viewing on mobile. Better to keep each image under 1MB. JPG at level 7 or 8 is great image quality.
