So Black Friday is just around the corner and I think I want to look at getting a laptop.
I know there are other threads with laptop and desktop recommendations but I feel that my case might be different.
First let me start off by saying that I am not looking for a primary workstation. I'm just looking for something that will allow me to get out of the house and do some work in a coffee shop or somewhere similar. Heaviness isn't too much of a factor either since I would still be sitting down at a table and plugged into an outlet.
I primarily would be using MODO, ZBrush, Photoshop and Substance Designer.
It would be a plus to be able to make some use of UE4, Unity, and Marmoset Toolbag 2 as well.
Would I be able to get away with not getting a beefcake laptop if I didn't use UE4, Unity, or Toolbag? Or at this point should I just go ahead and look at getting a beast of a machine?
What I really must have is an IPS display and probably at least a 15.6 inch screen.
My budget is ~$1500.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated!
Thanks!
