I like the books and I thought the first episode was good - especially for a sci fi tv series. I dislike some of the casting and everything felt more spacious than in the books. The constant claustrophobia and the wear and tear of space travel - and just how much time everything takes - is what sets the series apart, so it's kind of sad to see some of that not translate. It's going to be interesting to see if they manage to do some of the central set pieces of the series too. Some things are going to cost A LOT of money to do right.

watched it loved it, seems to have all the right elements to be a classic Sci-fi series, great CGI for a pilot too.

TL;DR... according to Diamandis (some guy with alot of money and big mouth) HR 2262 allows private ownership and development of asteroid for resources. Water, metals, etc.
