Hey all, I'm working on improving my texturing skills so I thought i'd start with some hand painted stuff to get a better feel for straight up painting in photoshop. I'm pretty comfortable with sculpting and baking normal maps, but when I get to the texturing phase I find I always have trouble. So I'm going to start with a few different hand painted models for fun and to attempt to improve my texture work, and then try out some next gen workflows as well. Would love any feedback and critique ya'll are willing to give!
I'm going to start by working on a hand painted cleaver. Concept by the awesome
