Just wanted to share my first attempt at character modeling. This was built from the ground up. Starting with a history to the environment (the environment is WIP) and some background to its inhabitants. This was part of a big world building assignment for class. I've spent over a month learning tools and skills such as zbrush sculpt, 3d coat retopology, rigging and skinning in maya, Normal map baking, PBR texturing, and rendering.
I'd really appreciate critiques and comments. I plan to put this on artstation, but i haven't gotten around to get really nice render shots. I'd really appreciate tips on composition for renders as well and what i can improve on my render shots.
