Future Games of London designs, develops and publishes games for
smartphones and tablets.
Founded in 2009, FGOL has been at the forefront of mobile
development since the App Stores launched.
In the company's 6 year life, our games have been downloaded 235M
times, the most notable being Hungry Shark Evolution (165M).
Our games are played by people of all ages all over the world. For
instance, 9% of Americans, 7% of South Koreans and 6% of the British population
have played Hungry Shark Evolution, and we have 2M – 3M people playing each and
every day.
The studio is looking for a passionate,talented and experienced Senior Game Artist to add to our growing team. This position entails environment art, but ideally the candidate will have a good level of ability in at least one or two other skill sets.
We are offering a full-time position in London and we are looking to fill this vacancy as soon as possible.
Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years industry experience working on console and/or mobile projects
- High and Low Poly Modelling of in-game assets
- Level lighting and population
- Understanding of optimization for mobile platforms
- Ability to hand paint texture maps, if required
Plus
- Character Modelling and Texturing
- Rigging and Animation
- High end lighting/rendering for presentation and marketing images
- Technical Art
Skills
- Working knowledge of Unity
- 3ds Max, Photoshop and Zbrush
- Confident working in a small team
- Ability to prioritise work-flow and deliver on time
- Familiarity with SCRUM / Agile practices
