Hey guys, I'm trying to work on my stylized hand painted skills. This character is based on a Moby Francke concept piece. I've been working on this character sculpt for a month or so. I'm almost done with the high poly sculpt. I wanted to test some color schemes. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
I still need to finish sculpting the hair and do a fine detail pass on some parts. I'm not sure about the placement of the gourd.
I'm leaning towards 4, but I also like 2

Keep at it, I'm looking forward to this!
What you have is working ok, but if you really want to nail the concept, at the least I'd suggest thickening the arms and hands quite a bit and making them shorter. I'd probably add some bulk elsewhere too - larger upper back, broader head, thicker thighs, slightly wider belly. Really push all those shapes.
Edit was also thinking pig war paint over the face perhaps this would be white or some color that stands out if not the face somewhere, where it works.
@SteveSchulze I agree I have been struggling to capture the same feel of weight as the concept. I'll give it another try. Thanks!
@DavidCruz It is a bit dark, when it comes to painting the final textures the value could be raised. I'm trying to keep the lower parts of the body darker to draw attention to the upper body. Thanks for the feedback!
Here it is with adjusted proportions. Tried to widen and shorten his arms, increase his shoulder/bicep mass, and widen his face.
Still working on the hair

Here's what I'm thinking for the color of the body. I would really appreciate some feedback on the color break up
