Since it looks very demonic, have you considered adding little vents? You know how Targis Prime has those little vent thingy? Something like those but on a much smaller scale.
I hope I'm not suggesting you to make things more complex than they already are.
Think I'm almost near the finished version now. I want to have enough time to get everything baked nicely and get some sweet textures xD @Noioiy I tried to tone down the demonic look in this update, but still keep the
horns because they are a defining feature. Think it was the arrangement
of the emissive orbs in the last one
This is a test-bake with a quick set of auto Uv's. I'm really surprised it came out so well for a nasty test. I wanted to see how the Normal map worked on the 3K triangle mesh. Should be nice when I spend some time on it xD
Finished Retopology. Ended up with 3,000 Triangles exactly xD also changed the back of the helmet and made it more sleek. Normals and AO maps baked and Emissive map created.
I will post up wireframes another time, so now to move onto texturing and tint masks. Having loads of fun on this!
Thanks a lot man! There is quite a few ways to make auto UV's in 3dsmax. I usually just go for flatten mapping for tests because it's super quick and no fuss.
For final UV's I usually start with Roadkill and touch up/finish in 3dsmax.
This helmet, my good sir, is quite possibly the most amazing thing I've ever seen and I really hope it makes it into the game. The details on the helmet look so great and horns are awesome. Great work!
Hi. The Warframe TennoGen preview tool is not allowing me to select more than 1 color. I am using the example files they gave us, so it should work. Any ideas? Also, I would love to know how you went about making your maps. I am pretty nooby, but I'd like to get a submission in. xD
@ClypticMarmoset doesn't support the tint masks (not that i am aware of anyway), so i just baked the flat colours I wanted into my Albedo map. @thebackagain maybe make sure that the intensity is set to 1 and you have the correct map? i have never really had problems with the emissive.. sorry

Finished my entry!
I will submit to the workshop soon
very well done!
View in different colour
..also made some more colour variants, which I think look quite cool.
