Hey guys I'd like to ask for your absolute honest opinion on my current portfolio/resume and if it is strong enough to stand out for a junior Environment Artist role.

Please don't hold back! Link to my artstation: https://sewell3d.artstation.com/

I worked as an intern architect visualiser but I've also had a lot of experience creating assets for real-time especially Oculus. Thanks in advance guys! I'll be happy to offer feedback on any pieces of your work as well.

Your Arch Viz stuff is nice, but if you want to get into games you really need to concentrate on making some game specific art and use a game engine.

Whaaaaaaaaaat. That's a junior? I thought I was looking at Senior work.

My concern though is are you applying for games work or VFX/archviz? If it's the former, I would focus more on just having the real time pieces in your portfolio, since I don't think you are allowed to tweak renders via post process programs (i.e anything that is done outside of the game engine).

Aha thanks guys! I've essentially restarted my portfolio; so I've grabbed what I've done professionally and some personal "cinematic" style pieces to start it out, but I think your both right that I would need more game engine ready assets/pieces. I've got 1 piece in there which is a real-time UE4 Oculus video demo but it doesn't particularly stand out.

I just love all aspects of 3D Environments too much

Personally I would remove the following:
    Kintsugi Ornate Tiles
    Clean Mahogany Wood
The reason for this is that these pieces are no where near the quality of the Old Abandoned wood.

In addition to this your Arch vis piece are really nice and all however I am not sure about keeping more than one or two of your favourites for your game artist portfolio.

If you're going for games, ditch the videos and do screenshots, breakdowns, hires sheets, and texture sheets.

Really good looking stuff right there! But like Slosh said, most of your pieces lack breakdowns. It is hard to tell visually where you were responsible for in those pieces.

Thanks everyone for the inputs! Given me a good idea on what to improve my portfolio and as Robeomega mentioned I've taken out the pieces mentioned since they are relatively not to par like the other Substance Designer materials.
