Hey gang! I'm very very new to zBrush and have been wanting to learn it for eyars. Now I have the chance. Anyways, I am trying to make a tree in zBrush and I figured using the zspheres would be the better starting point. When I got it to where I was happy I noticed an issue on the mesh version. The branches don't have nice sharp angles. They tend to round over.

Was wondering if there is a way to make this "better" or less rounded over?

(a) is the issue i am referring to.
(b) is another issue all together.
(c) is what I want (b) to flow as.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What happens if you increase the subdivision levels under the adaptive skin dialog, which is in the tool menu. Pump the subds up to 4 or 5, convert to adaptive skin, append. If you are going to smooth or increase the subds after appending the skin do the first ones with smart smooth off, then just use the smooth brush to round off the bits you want, after use zremesh to tidy up your topo.
