I'm making an 1vs1 level in Unreal editor 4 and I'm going to post updates on this thread. The theme of the level is going to be scifi. The feeling of the level is going to be very clean. Here is the blockout:
well i baked it on a 1024x1024 map but the wall is more a rectangle. I made a render in unreal to show it: it has a small ambient occlusion problem but it is getting fixed!
So I did a complete overhaul on my level and I've started modelling assets for my level. The problem with my previous level was that I had no idea how it would look like with meshes and textures. That's why I made a new level. The idea of this level is that it's going to be a very clean and very slick assets.
So I started unwrapping my models and placing them in my level. I'm going for a dark space feeling with no directional light. The hologram in the main room is a temporary one (it's from an assignment from school) but it shows the idea I'm going to do with the room.
I think it's too dark right now. I'm looking at it.. it's 10:40 am and I just can't see what's going on. The darkest darks shouldn't be totally black and I'd light the area around the hologram better if it serves as your focal point.
Another Update! I've redone the lighting and started playing around with decals also the outside is starting to get shape. I've also added a Sun in the scene to give the light a little direction from where its coming. Next up is finishing the outside and making some props to fill up the scene a little bit more!
So Last day till the exam! I've made alot of shaders and some unique props. Learned a lot and in the end a lot of fun . Today will be mainly tweaking the materials and checking if everything works! After that I will post my final shots of the level and a screenshot of the total set I made and used for this level.

fun fact the clock actually runs and the same speed as when the bezerker powerup will spawn.
