Hi all!
Me and my class are currently working on a Kowloon styled china town map. We weren't really tasked to work on the lighting and set dressing yet, but I worked on it to have an idea what assets we need and tweak materials.
I will be working on props materials tonight and will post clearer pics of those soon.
Criticism is highly welcomed from anyone. Feel free to criticism anything you see, since I made most of this, I have direct control over everything you see.
Just to give a background, I'm currently a game Art sophomore at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida.
Thanks a lot!!

I like the second to last picture with the slightly opened roller shutter, because it isn't the typical video game barrier where you just can't go further because of a fence or sth like that, and it still gives a hint that there is more beyond the actual level geometry.
Keep it going!
Cheers!
I like the last one the best, the lighting and atmosphere is much more interesting, the others i think are rellying more on natural lighting than artifical.
keep it up.
One advice I would have is to put more text around. It could be graffiti, some ads, street signs or just small texts on the objects.
Scrapped a few things, deleted the sign. Still needs a decent amount of work. Bunch of props are still WIP. As you can see for now, the composition doesn't follow rules of thirds.
And also more plastic bags, cigarette butts, and giant, garish shop signs above the entrances.
