Hey everybody! This is my first time on Polycount and I am a total noob to 3D modeling. I'm an aspiring Concept Artist but I've always wanted to dabble into the realm of 3D. I'm pretty new to all this but I was hoping that I might be able to get some professional feedback from here alongside my classes so that I could improve faster.
This is my first High Poly prop which I am planning to take into Low Poly this week and create Normal Maps. Before I do that I was wondering if you guys had any advice or errors you notice that I might have missed.

The only suggestion i have is that you really should try to stay away from sharp 90 degree extrudes on your high res models as they dont bake correctly on the normal map and thus, the low res mesh. I suggest going over the polycount wiki topics on normal map baking
