based from the original concept from artist daniel graffenberger for the game quantum rush.
had some fun with this. the primary drive was to create some assets and explore unreal engine - as my previous game engine experience has been with cryengine. really loving ue4!
i've moved on to other projects - so i don't plan on revisiting this scene anytime soon. critiques are welcome none-the-less.
my primary tools were 3ds max, quixel suite & unreal.
there's some fan art by way of destiny, blade runner & mdk!!
CACTUS ON FIRE yea - i thought about that. even the idea of painting the cityscape on the skybox itself - def lacking characteristics in the distance.
@mrgesy ha - funny that you mentioned that. the scene orig had some reds & yellows for lighting - maybe i ought to add those back in. the skybox is from the unreal marketplace 'ultra dynamic sky' - can't take credit for that. it's pretty rad none-the-less. i'm very new to ue4 - once i get more comfortable - it's time to create some custom skyboxes!
VBAGUIROV couldn't agree more - side walls and cracks. eventually when i get back to this - already onto a new project.
AMIRABD2130 indeed - it does feel empty. on my notes!
thanks all - super excited to be sharing my progress with such a supportive community!
