I think you have a great start here, but I am not sure where you are going with this. Is it a game level. or a Art render? either way it is interesting, but I think it would be helpful if we knew what was the purpose. As it is, I am confused why a tent would be inside another tent or attic space. maybe if the scene could hint at what the story is behind the image it would read better. Still great work so far, I love the texture in the tent and the lighting certainly does a good job of drawing the eye to the focus. Nice work man!
Hi, Lighting is still a work in progress so I'll post an update soon so hopefully you'll be able to see more clearly!
The piece is somewhat meant to be a playable level (Brief states that It must be real-time) However our lecture has plans to put them into VR so you can walk around them, whilst working I've been testing the playability via UE4, checking collisions etc.
The scene is from "Coraline" in which the owner of the attic is trying to create his own Mouse circus. The tent itself has a huge "Tardis-Effect" as it's bigger on the Inside. Thank you Realised I should have posted a reference, my apologies. (Concept by Chris Turnham).
