3D Art Generalist, working at Antimatter Games at our offices in Falmouth, United Kingdom.
Are you the games art equivalent of a Swiss army knife? Antimatter Games is a young, fast-
growing studio based currently seeking a 3D Art Generalist. If this sounds like you, we’d like
to talk to you about this opportunity helping us to create assets, items and characters for an
unannounced title. This role is for a three month contract, with the potential to extend
based on the needs of the project starting imminently.
You must be a diverse 3D modeller capable of creating high quality environments,
characters and models, comfortable working in a skilled, passionate art team to create
exciting, beautiful video games.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Creating a variety of assets and environments to a defined Art style
- Utilising existing art workflows to maintain a consistent, effective art pipeline
- Create strong character, object and environment art
- Creating key assets in part or in full, as appropriate
- Providing input and participating to the creative process
Required Skills & Attributes
- Experience working on the 3D Art of published video game titles;
- Solid understanding of current 3D art techniques and practices, and the ability to quickly
and efficiently communicate regarding your work, including receiving and implementing
feedback in a reasonable manner
- Mastery of 3DS Max, Photoshop and/or equivalent art development software
Beneficial Skills
- An understanding of JIRA and Agile software management practices;
- Especial focus on strong environment art and environmental design;
- Experience with projects using Unreal Engine 4.
