A new resource for game art education

Resident Polycounter Joseph Harford has recently unveiled Art For Games, a new community driven resource focused on game art education. Not only does the site include frequent tutorials and tips, but also serves as a platform for artists to share their work and ask for help. Art For Games will also be offering instructional courses in the near future so head on over, create an account, and stay tuned!

Woah, getting an 508 error. I guess a lot of people are trying to check it out.

Looking good really good but you might need to add/change to the following in line 619 in style.css as the logo overflows in Firefox :

#sidebar-top #logo img {
width: 100%;
}

Sorry about the 508 errors, it is due to the increase in traffic. We are still learning our server needs so the statistics from all this will go a long way to ensuring it doesn't happen in future.

All errors fixed and server upgraded again!
With many sites plugging Art for games and all the great traffic we've been getting this was a great opportunity for us to see what our server needs are going to be. Thanks for the patience!

Damn it's so slow....

Quick update - We have moved to new servers as I said above. Site speed is now 1000% faster as well. We will be back up shortly once domain settings transfer. Sorry for the inconvenience.
