Thank you for all of the wonderful nightmares
"Surrealist painter Hans Ruedi Giger, whose designs inspired the creature in Alien and whose otherworldly and often grotesque art graced album covers for Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Debbie Harry and Danzig, died Monday, following hospitalization for falling down the stairs in his Zurich home. He was 74."

A real artist, who never became a sell-out died! And one, who I consider én par with the great concept artists/Illustrators, such as Syd Mead. Though Giger was always the "fantastic" guy, who lives in his own world, or rather creates it. His work is less practical or illustrative, but it is timeless and remains to be graphic, even though we have become used to seing all kinds of funky stuff by now.

Thanks, great master Giger!
Look at the picture, it's hard to tell where's border between the canvas and reality.
