From my brief test with it, it seems to do the job well when it comes to making something realistic, and it allows you to tweak your results to a pretty good degree.
I'm just wondering if it's possible to fully control the process. Can I replace whatever images/code it's using to generate dirt, for example, and replace it with dirt that's more "cartoonish", if I'm working on a painterly game?
In the end a lot of the process of making a texture is tedious, technical stuff that don't really have anything to do with art.
If there's a tool that automates those and allows me to focus on the results instead of how to plan my file to get to them and waste half my day messing around in PS, I'll take it. As long as it doesn't limit my creativity or style choice.
