The long rumored and awaited project, Vertex, by Ryan Hawkins has finally been completed.
The project is a free downloadable book; Vertex. It's chock full of awesome game art tutorials and techniques by a metric butt-load of great artists. You will find something to enjoy and learn here.
Also take a look at their Showdown contest they are running. Ryan helped run several of the contests here and has branched off to do his own thing with this. I can assure you he's going run it properly for all of you.
