Josh Taylor has turned his amateur photography skills on the virtual worlds we all love and the results are great
If you're like me and spend more time admiring the games and the art that goes into them you will appreciate Josh Taylor's work. You might have seen some of Josh Taylor work posted by various sites like IGN but he's been pretty active as of late and the updates are great. I can't wait until he gets to Mass Effect 3...
He has pages and pages of gorgeous retouched screen shots and a lot of them have me wondering if we played the same games. Sure there is a level of Bullshot post production going on but some of the camera angles and the composition shows that he's thinking like a photographer while wondering around taking in the characters and the environments.
He has a few sites with different content so make sure to check them all out (links below).

No bullshot post procesing, just pure screenshots from games!
for example the latest mind-blowingly awesome Skyrim set:
Tools and tricks: official HD texture patch, customised Cinematic Lighting ENB wrapper, antialiasing (injected FXAA w/ texture pre-sharpening), mods (Realistic Water Textures, Better Dynamic Snow, Vurts Flora Overhaul, Lush Trees, Lush Grass, customised RAN’s Type-A HeadMesh, Better Females by Bella, Xenius Character Enhancement, miscellaneous mesh work), free camera, time stop, time and weather control, custom FOV.
So the average player can't just hit F12 and get the same results, but they are both just awesome
Malcom, he seems to have flooded his photosteams with a lot of Mass Effect3 screen dumps. His earlier stuff was done with a bit more care.
