Ever wanted to know how to create your own custom brushes? ctrl+Paint has a new video that will teach you the ins and outs of creating custom brushes in Photoshop.
If you've never heard of ctrl+Paint, then you're missing out on some great tutorials and a wealth of handy knowledge when it comes to digital painting and art fundamentals and much more! The site is updated very regularly as there are two new videos posted every week and each one better than the last. So I would highly recommend visiting ctrl+Paint to anyone interested in the digital painting medium.
Today, however, we are talking about custom brushes in Photoshop. Matt Kohr, the mastermind behind ctrl+Paint has created a new video to complete his Custom Brush Design series. It is a comprehensive hour long video that will take you through the process of creating and refining your very own custom brushes in Photoshop. This final video in the series is $10 through the ctrl+Paint store.
Here are two free custom brush workflow examples by Matt Kohr. When you're done with these puppies, there's more good news at the end of the post.
And seeing that you're dedicated Polycount members and have taken the time to read this News post in it's entirity, we at Polycount have arranged three free copies to give away to any member that replies to this News post. We will randomly select a member from the list each day for the next three days.
However, if you aren't one of the lucky few that win, I still do recommend picking up the video as it's really cheap and very helpful for any video game artist.

but i gues creating it myself would, atleast in some cases, be the more effecient way
