Wow, looking through this, this is pretty nice for photo-reference texturing. Not to mention that it's layout is a tad more user friendly compared to CGtexture.

wow nice a alternative to cgtextures for those ones that i can't find, good.

first thing i notice, correct me if I'm wrong, there seems to be no tiling textures, which is not completely necessary but extremely nice.

also on my quick self tour i clicked on wood floor randomly to see and the textures all have a distinct light source in the center, which yea ok that will happen, but they all look like they've been crappily Photoshopped. They are desaturated or seem as if they just used brightness contrast. Then compare them to cg textures which look amazing, and versatile. curious.

and cgtextures is quit a bit cheaper especially for the single user type, but good to have an alternitive

Hey, thanks for the nice comments, i am a 3d and textureartist since long years, i built up this page in less than 2 years (in comparison to cgtextures..) i thougt, new fresh textures in my style would be great,, there will come up new textures and changes, i decided against tiled textures by now, for the simple reason, that i never used it, i combined refpics as artist because they often look cheap, even if easy to use, a few things are up to you. to work on ..refpics...
but you will find a lot masked trees/fences, depending on your needs ,
you can always drop me a mail for new ideas, i am very much open to every idea!

Looks good. I use cgtextures and mayang quite a bit. The most useful texture for me are grunge maps, splatters and decals. This site doesn't seem to have any. Will have a proper look through when I next need textures.

One thing I don't like is that image sets are not clumped together. On http://www.texturepilot.com/textures/63/Floor for instance, the first 14 images are nearly the same. This means that when I'm browsing, I have to click through many more pages.

It's a pretty nice alternative, though, so good going for you.
