Kinect SDK for Windows is availble

As amazing as it might seem, Microsoft has released the SDK for the Kinect system.

This allows anyone to make applications that can properly use the sort of data streams that the motion camera can generate. There's is a lot of technical details, and of course the download link, at their new and shiny website supporting this.

There is a note that this is the non-commercial version of the SDK with a commercial version that will be released at a later date. So no making money off this just yet. I know, I am disappointed too.
