Ads - Now with 100% more relevance

We were inadvertently blocking the all knowing Google from scraping our pages, hence the public service ads many have noticed since we implemented the system - thanks to Vito for pointing this out. With the gates open, the Google bots have already started serving up more relevant ads and this should continue to get better as our data is assimilated. We are also working on changing up the colors for the text ads so they are less abrasive to your sensitive, sunlight deprived eyes.

@Japhir - the groupon ones try to figure out your location but aren't always accurate depending on ISP, VPN links, etc. I get ones for my proper locality but I've also seen them be way off. Google tries to do the best with the data they have O_o.

@Japhir - magic of google's algorithm at work. It's more relevant than the Public Service ads because it is actually targeting something relevant to your location. They only have so many game related ad providers so at some point they go for the easy local sell.

Haha, the ads are definitely more relevant now.

I'm very glad we got rid of those blinding white eyesores. That said I'm unlikely to attend Full Sail and was hoping my favorite place on the net would be an escape from all the political BS... though now that elections are over those should probably disappear yay!
