Autodesk goes free for students

Autodesk has announced a new pricing and licensing structure on all their products for students and faculty. There are now all free and you can get a license for that free for 3 years. This is for all their products; Max, Maya, Autocad, etc etc, plus access to all their tutorials and support forums. Hard to beat free and all for the cost of your school issued email.

what about people who arent students but would like to learn new software? surely they could give a non-commercial version free for those interested in learning the software. Just because I finished uni 2 years ago doesnt mean I want to stop learning.
