5 weeks have now passed for the Team Fortress 2: Polycount Pack contest and that can only mean one thing: THE CONTEST HAS ENDED.
If you read all of the Rules & Submission Guidelines, then you knew you had to have your entry submitted by 00:01 PST on June 28th, 2010 to eligible for the Polycount Pack. With all of the amazing entries in this contest, we really hope everyone did read all of the rules! Just to refresh your memory, why not go over the Contest page one more time as there may have been a tidbit or two that you've missed when submitting your entry.
As I mentioned in Sunday's 11th Hour post, it is recommended that anyone who's entering this contest updates their original post with their final images for this contest. It'll make the lives of everyone involved easier when trying to find your final shots.
We have a surprise for everyone who's finished & submitted their entry for this contest. YES - EVERYONE who's entered!* For your efforts in this contest, Valve is going to give each of you your very own GREENTOOTH PIN to wear in Team Fortress 2.
[caption id="attachment_1641" align="aligncenter" width="600" caption="HUGE thanks to Polycount Member 'DKK' for creating this for the contest!!!"][/caption]*Which makes it all that more important that you follow the submission guidelines found on the contest page.
Now then, instead of listing the great entries found in Week 5, here are great entries created throughout the entire contest. Great job everyone! Valve has their work cut out for them, as they'll be announcing the winners on July 12th, 2010.
Now then! Please remember, the above entries are samples of what the Polycount Community busted ass on for the Team Fortress 2: Polycount Pack. You should do your eyeballs a favour and head on in to the Contest & Challenges Forum and view the hundreds of entries that are going to keep Valve busy.
Tune in July 12th, 2010 for the announcement of the winners of the TF2: Polycount Pack contest!

Anywho, I LOVE THESE PACKS AMFG!@!#@!@$#!
I'm really impressed with the results of this contest, I'm disappointed I didn't get a chance to participate but somehow I don't think I could have competed with the quality of some of the final entries of this contest.
It's going to be a tough job for Valve to judge this contest.
Best of luck to everyone.
Good job everyone! you all deserve a good rest!
so many awesome entries and a greentooth to boot!
It's gonna be like christmas, but with weapons...
so I guess it'll be like christmas in Narnia?
P.S. if you take the "WIP" part out of my img tag there you should get the final pic instead of the wip one from a week ago;)
Great that they accepted the proposition for the greentooth pin, Valve are such swell guys
I'm going to wear it with pride.
Anyway, best of luck to you folks. There's an awful lot of talent being thrown around in this comp.
Sparkwire, check your PM.
And thanks PolyCount and Valve for this contest
That aside.. OMG! what an awesome contest this was! Learned so much in such a short time, my head still hurts.
Congrats to all the people who finished and good luck in this contest!
just wish I had more time to learn more about modeling and texturing of all things.
I'm glad that there are such contests. really lets the community shine
Could someone rehost the missing images on a dropbox?
.. ahem.
Sorry, carry on.

I mean if he does, anyone who just tried should get the badge. That is my honest opinion on how it should work. One guy spent more time on a uncompleted model that this guy spent on all his models.
This guy has very little experience but at least he tried and send something in! Hell it might not be the best game art you have ever seen but at least he did something! plus you have no idea in how much effort he put into it! Hell for all we know it was allot more then laro for example. It takes allot of effort to start fully inexperienced with a very strange free modeling program. I was surprised he came this far! so yeah, this guy deserved the greentooth.
If you wanted it as well then you should have done something!
