This is a project I'm working on. It is all my own code and art except for the vehicles (purchased on Turbosquid). I'm prototyping a multiplayer shooter.

Right now this is my first map. It is all modeled from Bucharest, Romania because I just clicked it randomly and saw they had really cool architecture in the style I wanted.

I included some google maps locations for reference. Just figured I finally had a decent amount to share even though it's not perfect. It takes time and iteration. This is a fairly long project at the moment and will be long-term to get to polish. Right now I'm programming the character animation/movement. I'm trying to keep a development journal for weekly updates.

Critiques welcome.

My critiques:
-Ambient light is too dark for the scene. Direct light not powerful enough.
-Building textures too much big noise, makes them seem like smaller scale replica's
-Building textures need to be much more sexier and interesting
-Ambient occlusion isn't dark enough.
