Hi everyone,
Here is a new project I am working on. I've been wanting to do a shotgun for a while now, and I wanted to work on my wood (texture). I like the design of this weapon a lot. Also I love Fallout.
I plan on texturing this in substance designer for the material definition, then will use photoshop and ndo to finish up the rest of the texture.
I used ZBrush originally to try to get the welded beads effect on the metal parts, but it always looked terrible when I decimated it.. Frustration and experimentation told me I can get a pretty good effect as well in substance painter.
Any crits/feedback is entirely welcome. Thanks for checking my project out!

One thing I did notice, the end of the barrel and the holes in it might need a wee bit of creasing, it's starting to lose shape a little, but I think it adds to the effect of it aging a little.
Keep at it! It looks really good!
I had a look on my PC rather than my phone, and the edges do seem to look like they are perhaps deliberate, adding to a damaged effect as other edges are perfectly crisp
Please let me know if you have any feedback/insights and whatnot. That would be amazing. Thanks for taking a look!
