Hi folks, i´m strugling to improve as much as i can my portfolio, i`ve been trying to employ myself as a character artist for a year now, i know my stuff it´s not pro, not by far (i´ve been modelling for 2 years and half now) i need more time, and more expertise, that´s one thing i know, but i´m not aiming for a senior position in a big freaking ass company either, only collaborating maybe with a small studio as a start, but you know time is money and i´m short on both , so yeah, destroy me, be honest and as much devastating as needed, i will really appreciate any tip or critique you could make, thanks in advance guys

    Hey
you got some pretty cool ideas! Unfortunately most of them are not actually finished characters. The archer's pose and all is great, I love it, I wish it was textured and rendered! (same for the skeleton rider and the winged one)

Like the person above said, It will be better if you finish your characters. Also materials need more work.

    Good luck!

You have some pretty solid looking sculpts. But as someone mentioned, you need to finish your work. Just start with one...I would choose the archer. Make a low poly model of her, texture her well, render her in an engine or mental ray. Just make the final renders look great and present your images well. When you apply, don't send them your artstation with all your unfinished work. That is basically telling them that you can't finish stuff. Oh, and it doesn't matter if you're applying to a AAA studio or a small indie one, your work has to be as awesome as someone who has been doing this for years...cuz that's who you're competing against.
