That blocking looks really nice! not sure about the guy who stays in the air after being kicked , but I think I know what effect you want to give him , that will be cleared with more keys ! awesome job
I think it looks great. The main thing I noticed is that at the 1 second mark the first guy does a weird twitch on the ground.
Just a suggestion, I don't think that first hit would incapacitate the first guy so effectively. It might daze him. Consider possibly adding a little life in him? For example when she stabs both of them, the bottom mans legs would lift up and wither in pain.
@Chris, the left guy actually shoots and kills the right guy, the leg twitch you see is him being shot. I need to adjust the camera move before the cut a bit I think, hopefully that and when I add FX it'll be more readable.
Oooft, this has a really nice feel to it especially with the camera.
If you're just practicing some action animation the ignore this... but if it's going on a reel it would be awesome to give the viewer a second or two to take in the final scene. Something like flicking her hair back with her hand as she stands over the dead bodies would look great I think.
Hey HITO, awesome animation! I love this sort of stuff. I'll throw in my two cents on this if you'd like some critique.
I love the first takedown! Reminds me of the chop Makoto would do in SF4.
I think you could probably tweak the timing on the 2nd guys reaction and when he takes his gun out. It's maybe the reaction that could be exaggerated more, or a slight pause, and his twist or step to the left went by quick. I want to say maybe his right leg or foot can step back slightly once he takes out his gun.
Similar to the timing on the first takedown fall, there could probably be one like that when she switches the handle on her sword, that might have gone too quick.
For the death animation on the guys, the top guy's right hand could go up too, and maybe his head tilted up higher once when the sword hits him. I think the gun on his hand could also drop once he falls. His animation with his head and hand coming up could be a little quicker, and then quickly goes down.
Hope this helps, it's always cool seeing some action animations. Keep it up, man!
The two big dudes definitely are getting some attention this week. It'll be interesting problems to solve. Hopefully I'll have it wrapped up later this week.
