Cutting Breeze, a luxury space yacht. CC please. Where should I take it?

Here's a ship I'm working on. I really suck with texturing and I want to get better. I'd like some CC for the model itself if possible, and then later some CC on the texturing when I finally get to it.

I'm using C4D but have zbrush and Keyshot.

where should I go from here? What should I texture it with?

Thanks for the help in advance.

First of all, the giant guns really don't say "yacht".

Beyond that, the overall massing looks fine, but you're gonna want to add a lot more detail to model before you go on to texturing. Also, right now, it looks like you're relying very heavily on interpenetrating volumes. You can sometimes get away with that for smaller details, but for major shapes it's going to cause problems. Either extrude the shapes out, or have the parts be flush but not interpenetrating.

Ok, rog. I added guns because this yacht is intended for use in more dangerous space.

How should I add detail? Detail is always my issue. I'm currently working on texturing, but if you mean polygon detail I'd need a little help with that.

How would I make these interpenetrating volumes "flush"? I'm working with Cinema 4D, and it may be a bit of a challenge. You mention it causes problems; what problems does it cause?

    thanks for your input.
