Hey guys,
I am working on this model of a space girl. I am basically done blocking out the model. Id like to get some feedback on overall design right now.
The style/look I'm going for is something like the image below. The final intent of this model is to be a unity game ready model
Any feedback/thoughts on how I can improve

Lastly,
I have been cutting up, duplicating, and using lattices on this piece. In the process the mesh turned black and white, no matter what material I use, it still does this.
I have checked the normals and they look fine.
Any thoughts?
it looks like Maya to me.
Try this OP.
1. unlock the normals
2. set to face (select small groups of faces you want to have normals set to face on, work around the model pressing set to face
worst case, you just export the object as an OBJ, and re-import into the scene.
I had this happen to one of my models recently, and sometimes the normal shenanigans work, and sometimes exporting it and re-importing it works. Just depends.
if that does work, you can export your skirt obj and i can try fixing it.
best of luck
Thanks Pandan!

I did some color studies. I am leaning towards the the two on the left
The Right boot and glove are coming in as if the normals are flipped, but i checked in Maya and the normals are correct.
It seems that the radial symmetry is being set to the entire object and not the subtool?
For example, in the image below you can see that the Bracelet on screen left has some sculpted information that I want to transfer over to the Bracelet on screen right. They are separate subtools Is there a way to do this?
