I think you have some scaling discrepancies that aren't helping the piece. In the gear/window thing the pipe connectors are larger and more ornate in the concept and the gears inside are smaller. It's a better balance and lends itself more to looking like a cohesive focal point.

LOVE that concept art tho ... thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for your advice WarrenM I shall put that into action right now! I think I'v been looking at it for far too long haha.
That's a very nice concept right there. I few cents regarding the fridge: By adding the SMEG branding to it you're bringing the scene to a contemporary time period. Judging from the concept it looks as though the scene is set a bit more into the past, with all the gearwork etc.
This might be my own opinion but maybe have a think about it.
The sculpt looks really nice, looking forward to the bake/materials and to see how this scene progresses. Good luck

Its a good opinion as though I was just worried that it looked a tad bit plain so I wanted to add a bit more to it that's all I may have a look with out it though and see how it works in the scene.
Did you use references for the folds in his suit? I know those can be a nightmare to sculpt, but it currently looks a little blobby and undefined.. and they don't make a lot of sense. I think most of these suits create sharp folds (thinner material). And there has to be some kind of visible connection between the different parts, otherwise it looks as if they are just stuck in there.
Btw. the original image is pretty awesome, interested in what you can do with it. ^^
It's not the best reference, but you get the idea.
This is a cool concept and there's some nice hard surface work so far, but I do agree that the suit is the weakest element at this point. I get the feeling there's a body in the suit looking at the concept, but the sculpt feels empty and undefined.
Do you have a proxy mesh for the underlying anatomy? I would take super average man or Nick Z's base, pose that and sculpt the organic parts of the suit around that. You could also omit the figure / suit and maintain the appeal of the concept I think.
Hey guys thanks so much for the feed back I really appreciate it. Also it's the 1st time doing cloth and I'm finding it really difficult. But I will take your feed back on board and try to improve it by putting a body in the suit and try adding some seams where needed

Thanks for the feed back much appreciated!
The first one I made has a lot more creases in it but i think too many. So this inspired me to make another one that is a lot more basic.

Good luck with the project!
Here you can see the before and after I feel it looks a lot better
