Hi!
I decided I want to do something I zbrush, so I decided to make a plague doctor mask, even though it has been done to death. So, I haven't started yet because I had a question right of the bat, namely, how do you guys do layered leather? In the past I have just sculpted out the seams but it might not be the best way, so I thought I might as well ask before I start driving a screw with a hammer.
I think I'm just going to do the basic version, something like a combination of these:

I went with something like this:

Aw, Too bad I didn't see this before I started. I hope the method I chose works as well.
The thing is though, if you want to get the crisp smooth edges of panel loops, its easy to mask off parts of what you've made already and then create panels with an Elevation of somewhere between 0 and -100 so that you essentially replace the meshes you've made so far.
I'll definitely check it out sometime though the thing I'm doing now seems to work pretty well. Thanks for the tip!
(I'll handle much of the leather texture and bump in Substance Painter)
I don't know, I tried it without and it simply looks too plain without those wrinkles.
Thanks, I'll try to fix those things!
