So, I have finally narrowed my laptop builds down and im satisfied with 2 of them. After doing a bit of research about each, I now want some other opinions.
Build 1 (preferred)

Intel i5 6300HQ (cant upgrade)
8GB RAM
GTX 960M 2GB
500GB FAST HHD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE
15.6" 4K IPS SCREEN
£647
Build 2
https://www.dinopc.com/shop/pc/configurePrd.asp?idproduct=2475&qty=
Intel i5 4210M (upgradeable)
16GB VENGEANCE RAM
GTX 860M 2GB
500GB HYBRID (8GB SSD)
15.6 LED HD SCREEN
£572
I have a powerful desktop so I dont need a powerful laptop. All I need is something that can handle 3dsmax and substance painter(2k res) without any lag/jittering when Im out and about :P
beefaroni's post was so helpful but the majority of websites listed there are American, im Irish, so I wont be paying ridiculous import+postage charges for any builds.

The second options seems possibly better compared side-by-side?
It is now a BEAST. I'm getting a solid 60 fps in UE4 even on Epic settings, and The Witcher 3 runs smooth as silk no matter what settings I play around with. And the machine is pretty much silent all the time. Now it's up and running properly, I cannot recommend it enough
Awesome! What sort of specs do you have? I wont ask what you paid for it. I'm worried that I buy a laptop that can't handle substance painter, which is super memory hungry.
16GB RAM
GTX 950m
1TB SSHD (makes a hell of a difference)
and it wasn't even *that* much money (got it all back via tax rebate anyway, mwa ha ha)
