Halo 3 : Warthog

Hi guys. I'm starting a new project for learning and portfolio purposes and as the title says, I'm making a halo 3 warthog. I would absolutely love any advice or critiques, as this project is going to be pretty challenging for me. Thank you and i hope you enjoy the progress (:

You're adding a lot of geometry pretty early on. I'd do a box with an extrusion in the top middle for the roll cage, two 10ish sided cylinders for each set of wheels and some very primitive shapes for the turret (maybe 3 boxes). Make sure your proportions are correct and that all the major pieces of the vehicle work together before you start making any major cuts; it'll make adjustments down the line go a lot smoother.

Should i work off this or do you think i should restart with a more general block out? I think restarting may get me on a better track d:

Here's some progress pics everyone. Lots to do still d: I began working on the underside a couple of days ago, it doesnt look great but I'm getting there. Suspension and tires might be next after i finish the bottom. Looking forward to creating the turret high poly too (: let me know what you think!
