Quick question everyone,
Is there a way to unbind a mesh in modo?
I was figuring out how to heat map a skeleton to a mesh. (bingo, got it).
Now i want to know if i can take the skeleton off. I think i can. How though?
:I
If it's a single mesh bound to the skeleton, you should be able to hit the little + beside the mesh in the item list, then select and delete the normalization folder there.
All the normalization folders should be listed in the deformers list, too (should be in the Setup tab on the right). You can select and delete them there, too.
If you've got multiple meshes bound to the same normalization folder and you want to just remove one mesh from it, it can be a bit trickier. You can drag the mesh and the folder into schematic view, then delete the link between them.
Thanks ! I just went ahead and started a new file, because the one in question was just at est file anyway. I'll try out what you said soon, and let you know what happens.
Again, thanks !
