yo!

figured i'd stop lurking and start posting some more, so i can get on par with all the other great artists here. here i'll post stuff i make!

to start off i made a head study tonight, based off an illustration by loish:

and the other night i did a sculpt of this old lady. based off a concept, but couldnt find the artist anywhere.

ight, started refining some tonight. gonna try and get the upper body finished first, aint bothering too much with the lower body right now. any crits are greatly appreciated!

It seems like a good start, although the elbows and abdomen look off. I would suggest trying to simplify the forms in those areas and study anatomy or stylized anatomy a bit more. (not an expert on anatomy or Darksiders art style, but that is what stands out to me)

calling it done now (maybe)! need to move on and do more of the bustaroos, it was lots of fun. lots of photoshop cheating but i figured it's better than abandoning it as a lame sculpt
