ATTN: Substance Gurus - Help with my procedural Chinese Roof Shingles

Hey Gurus!

So I've created the challenge for myself of creating procedural Chinese Roof Shingles. As a first pass, so far so good. Everything is being created procedurally.

Here's a close up of shingle:

The problem i'm running into is that I'm befuddled on how to create a chipped away 'trim dynamic' brush look on the height map. Similar to something that you would see in Zbrush:

Using edge damage nodes yield damage on the edges yes, but not a sloped chip effect. I'm finding this especially difficult because I'm trying to chip/slope across the flat part of the tile, as well as the side sloping down.

Anyway, for reference, I've exported the zbrush heightmap with the chipped edges. It's veryyyy veryyy subtle and hard to see.

Any ideas anyone? All things are welcome and I will see if I can try all of your suggestions.

Thanks!
