Final images, more on my
website. Please could I have some criticism of it, it'll save me starting a new thread.
-------------
Hi everyone.
It has been a long time since I last posted, but I thought I should start a thread to share my progress with a new environment. This one is based of a
concept I did a while back.
So far I've only made the main props, some are still a WIP and its still looking too clean and tidy.
What I have so far:

In terms of the models though (the tv especially), I think you should subscribe to the bevel church.
EDIT: You have some lovely concept art on your artstation.
The room looks a bit smaller then your concept.
Can't say much more since this is still a WIP, but your concept looks very promising .
frmdbl - The bevel comment worries me, anything bad enough to scrap?
har - I don't think I will be following the concept too closely but I will try out a different scale. You're right about the monitor I got carried away.
a prop like that monitor would read much better
at a distance with more beveled edges,
and I think it would look better.
It seems counter-intuitive, but it's just the way our brains work. It could also be a technical thing that may be sorted out with higher resolutions, better anti-aliasing solutions, and larger polygon counts in future generations of games, but I'm not sure.
Also, loving the site redesign!
Hey guys, semi final images posted.
The lighting has been a pain in the neck, I just cant get it to show the materials off properly due to the placements but at least my concepts will prevent this in future.
If there's anything I can change to improve this folio piece now's the time to mention it. There are a few pieces of hardware like the mouse and police scanner I should do but I feel starting a fresh scene might be more beneficial now I know much more, and some of the older assets is holding it back.
Also cheers for the comments guys, they really helped a lot actually.
