Image Synthesis Tiling

Does anyone have used program that uses image synthesis to create seamless tillable textures? Here is some research about this: http://www.cc.gatech.edu/cpl/projects/graphcuttextures/

A similar method was used in ImageSynth (now discontinued).
There's also Pixplant, which uses a different algorithm altogether (pixel based, and not patch based as far as I can tell).

Thanks @oblomov , they dont seem to use the same algorithm but could be useful.
I need it mostly for tiling fabrics, so if anyone knows some other programs share them here.

Imagesynth used the same algorithm you posted (ie Kolmogorov-Boykov graph cut), although with additional optimisations.
